The Canyon Vista restaurant/cafeteria is indicated on this map of all campus dinning facilities (some are closed during the summer). Price Center also has many fast food restaurants.
Shuttle
Calit2 (Canyon Vista cafeteria stop) and TSRI Training Building Stop
A shuttle is provided to transport participants from Calit2 to TSRI. Shuttles will run 30 min before and after the scheduled start of training sessions, at 15 min intervals. Parking at Scripps is free with a valid day use permit for the training sessions.
Interestingly, according to Google map, you won't even find the new Calit2 Building (Atkinson Hall) and the Computer Science and Engineering Building at the intersection of Engineers Lane and Voigt Lane, instead, you'll only see the PFBH Bioengineering Building. The Calit2 building was dedicated Oct. 28, 2005, while the CSE building was dedicated in July, 2005. Hopefully this information gets updated by the time of this event :)
PFBH: Powell-Focht Bioengineering Building
CSE: Computer Science and Engineering
Calit2: California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology
TSRI: The Scripps Research Institute
UCSD: University of California, San Diego
NBCR is a resource for the biomedical
community. Our mission is to conduct, catalyze, and enable biomedical

information and grid technologies. We consist of researchers from
the University of California, San Diego, including the San Diego
Supercomputer Center (SDSC), the California Institute of Telecommunications
and Information Technology (Calit2), the Center for Research in Biological
Systems (CRBS), The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI), and Washington
University in St. Louis. We are supported by the NIH’s National
