The preferences menu has several miscellaneous options:
QUICK RENDER : toggles the "QUICK RENDER" option. When set and an interactive
transformation is taking place, solid objects are rendered as lines in order
to obtain better interactive performance.
SECOND VIEW : pressing the "v" key brings up a second view of the structure.
Selecting "SECOND VIEW" from the preferences menu allows the user to select
the angle about the Y axis by which the second view is rotated from the first.
SHOWPICKSIZE: shows the picking area (default 5x5 pixels). This is
useful when redefining the picking area (see below) in order to pick
more then one atom or other object.
PICK SIZE: allows the user to adjust the picking area either with the
mouse, or by specifying values in an input window.
PLAYBACK : allows the user to play back a "record" file (undocumented).
REWIND: start at the beginning of a "playback" file (undocumented).

to QMView
SYMMETRY TOLERANCE: Allows the user to adjust the tolerance in symmetry calculations.
INTERACTIVE SCALING: Allows the user to adjust the scaling for all transformations.
