[Vectors Menu]

This menu gives the user a selection of options for displaying vector data that may have been included in one or more input files or in a vibrational mode file. These options apply to all displayed vectors.

The options are:

  • NO VECTORS Do not display any vectors
  • LINES Draws the vectors as lines.
  • CODELINES Draws the vectors as a line with the same color as the corresponding atom.
  • CYLINDERS Draws the vector as a lighted cylinder.
  • CODECYLINDERS Draws the vector as a lighted cylinder with the same color as the corresponding atom.
  • COLOR Brings up the color panel to choose vector colors for the LINES and CYLINDERS display options
  • LENGTH Brings up a window that allows the user to scale the vector length either with the mouse or by entering a value
  • WIDTH Brings up a window that allows the user to scale the vector width either with the mouse or by entering a value.
